Among all 50 states, California had the most foreclosure filings with 4,079, while North Dakota had the least with only 13 filings. In terms of states with the highest foreclosure rates, South Carolina, Delaware, and Florida claimed the top three spots, respectively.

The Mideast region had the largest representation among the 10 states with the highest foreclosure rates. These states were Delaware, New Jersey, and Maryland.

On the other hand, the Plains region had the highest representation among the 10 states with the lowest foreclosure rates. These states included Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, and North Dakota.
